Jennifer L. Hynes, M.S.

Jennifer L. Hynes was a founding partner of TEAMCare in 2007. Her vision was—and is—to provide quality and personable behavioral health services that make each individual feel valued. “Mental health is as important as physical health, and that is what we convey every day to patients and their families,” she says. She is also the co-founder of Dauphin County ASPIRE (Allies for Suicide Prevention: Inspiring, Responding, Education) and a supporter of Randi’s House of Angels, Suicide Prevention Alliance, and the Joe Allegrini Children’s Hero Fund.

Jennifer has been working in the behavioral health field for more than 30 years. Throughout her career, she has worked as a therapeutic support staff, behavioral specialist consultant, mobile therapist, and program director. Jennifer’s experience has given her a broad understanding of the challenges patients and their families face, and clear insight to lead her team of 100.

Jennifer originally intended to become a physical education teacher but, instead, followed the call to a career providing mental health services. Early in her career, children with autism were her first love, and these children and their families hold a special place in her heart. Jennifer enjoys meeting new patients and families and providing the quality services they need and deserve.

Jennifer holds degrees from Springfield College and East Stroudsburg University. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons and the family’s four bulldogs, the Frenchies: (Winston and Willow); and the English (Penny and Bubba). During football season, Jennifer cheers…….PSU and Steelers!
