Psychiatric Services

TEAMCare offers psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults:

• An intake will be completed with a clinician before your Psychiatric Evaluation.
• Meeting with our psychiatrist begins with a psychiatric evaluation. The patient, and sometimes guardians, will sit with our psychiatrist and go over histories and the details of treatment.
• The prescribing psychiatric clinician then develops a formulation. The formulation combines biological, psychological, and social parts of the patient’s concerns with developmental needs, family histories, and strengths.  From the formulation, a treatment program is developed.
• The prescribing psychiatric clinician treats the patient by utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
• The prescribing psychiatric clinician may also order diagnostic tests and evaluate the data to ensure thoroughness and the highest quality of care.
