Stephanie McDonough, L.P.C., Psy.D.

Stephanie McDonough, PSY.D. is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Albright College, her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Alvernia College, and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness based approaches to treatment. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career, including outpatient mental health and college counseling, inpatient and partial hospitalization programs, providing individual and group therapy, supervision for psychology trainees, and psychological assessments. She has also worked for 15 years as part of a comprehensive DBT program. Stephanie believes in getting to know each client on a human level and exploring how a person’s unique experiences and strengths can be used to guide the treatment process.
